Wanting to invest in new technology to improve their current working methods and win new contracts, Thurton Foundries acknowledged that training was an essential part to realising their ambition.

Through accessing training in 3D modelling and CAD software, the engineering company was able to increase the knowledge base and skill set of their design team and delegate project tasks more efficiently.
As a result, Thurton Foundries are confident in their ability to work on different projects, offering increased product development and better value for money to their customers.
The Beyond 2010 business support programme is delivered by Essex County Council and funded by the European Social Fund and East of England Development Agency. Hethel Engineering Centre work with Essex County Council to deliver the Automotive & High-Tech Manufacture sector for Beyond 2010.
