Colchester Communications Company Ltd
Colchester Communications is a growing company with big ambitions. Based in Essex, the fibre optics company required a technical course to train their younger members of staff in an approved training centre.
By enrolling a number of junior staff on the City & Guilds ‘Installation & Testing of Fibre Optics’ course, they were not only able to gain a recognised qualification which is essential when working with renewable energy; but also gave them a good basic knowledge for further in-house training.
We required technical training that was not offered by other projects; Beyond 2010 was really able to help us out
Through the Beyond 2010 training, the newly qualified members of staff have gained confidence in their abilities and are eager to develop within the business.
The Beyond 2010 business support programme is delivered by Essex County Council and funded by the European Social Fund and East of England Development Agency. East of England Tourism work with Essex County Council to deliver the Tourism & Olympics 2012 sector for Beyond 2010.
