Banham Zoo

Banham Zoo, one of Norfolk's top award-winning visitor attractions, was introduced to the Beyond 2010 Tourism and Olympics 2012 sector specialist by a local training provider known to them.

Our Beyond 2010 contact has been very helpful and the training better than we could have expected. All the employees are ‘fired up

Marion Bartlett

Banham Zoo found that through the ease of applying and the accessibility of the funding, they were able to book two separate training courses for staff with very different needs.

The marketing team attended web design training which has developed their animation and web skills, which has enabled them to re-design the website for visitors to view. And those who attended the management training have developed their office management skills and become more confident in their leadership style.

The training has already delivered substantial cost savings, as the marketing team have brought all sites in house and can now update them when required, rather than outsource the work to a third party.
